Remember the Intelligender Test I ordered a few weeks ago? Well, it finally came. Actually, the first one supposedly got lost in the mail and they quickly sent me a replacement. The waiting has been killing me. Since my marriage is in the dumps, I’m going to enjoy thinking about pink or blue for now. I did take a picture of my test result, unfortunately I can’t find my camera connection cord to upload it. But….I found a test result on the Intelligender website that looks exactly like my results…..

They say a baby with a heart rate over 140 is a girl, and under 140 is a boy. Well….baby D’s heart rate has been consistently in the 160 – 170bmp range. Making it a GIRL!

This fun calendar cross references the mother’s age at conception and month of conception to predict boy or girl…..it says GIRL!
Husband’s Weight Old Wives Tale
After doing further digging into gender prediction, they say that when a husband gains weight with his wife during pregnancy, she’s having a girl, if his weight doesn’t change, she’s having a boy. Ummm….he’s put on quite a few pounds already…..GIRL!
Angie’s Hairline Test
If you don’t know what this is, refer to the comment section of this post. My son’s hairline comes to a point, meaning our next child would be a girl…and we had our daughter Kaydence. Now Kaydence’s hairline comes straight across like mine meaning the next born should be the same gender…..a GIRL!
Online Gender Quiz
There’s several of them out there so I just picked the first I came upon which was at justmommies.com Basically you go through and answer all of these questions about your pregnancy (ie how fast your leg hair is growing, what you’re craving etc) and it spits you out a percentage. Mine said….83% chance of….you guessed it…a GIRL!
Obviously there’s tons of old wives tales and they don’t always hold true but it’s fun to guess. With that said, I will know for sure a week from Monday because I scheduled an elective 2d gender determination ultrasound. So we’ll truly have to wait and see until then.

I heard about the Intelligender Test when I was pregnant and wanted to do it but never did. My daughters heartbeat was always high, and my husband gained weight with me but the Chinese Gender Chart showed boy. Good luck and Congrats!
Wow, half of those tricks I didnt even know. I spent a big chunk of my pregnancy wondering if the ultrasound tech was right or not cause that was the only thing I had to go on… Dont worry, they were right and I had a little boy on Aug. 19th!!
