Summer snuck right up on is this year. We went from a cool spring to sizzling heat in a matter of days. Which means...the fields are plumping up with sweet, red strawberries. It's a typical Saturday, we get up one by one, change diapers, feed baby, get breakfast for the kids. All is merry. Last night we experienced a loss in our family that is tearing my heart up today. Our cat, Oscar "the Grouch", was accidently run over by husband after he slipped out the door while he was loading the kids into the van.
