Our Day 18 of baby shower fun comes to you from Bath Luve!

About Bath Luve:

When Amy Seckinger’s son Austin was born 10 years ago, she looked for something to make bath time more pleasant. “Before I put Austin in the tub, he was all warm and swathed and cuddly,” she says. But that calmness soon turned to frustration and crying once the clothes were off and only Austin’s back was placed in the warm water.

Thinking that bath time would go more smoothly if there wasn’t such a drastic temperature change, the Delafield resident designed a cloth covering the would cover her son’s chest and private parts. The idea, dubbed the Bath Luve, has gone from a mother’s practical solution to the mass-market retail world.

LUVĒ, LLC was founded by Wisconsin-based momtrepreneur Amy Seckinger. The company launched its first national product in 2008 – the Patent Pending Bath Luvē, an innovative solution which provides warmth and comfort during infant bath time.

The Bath Luve has been unlike any product I’ve ever used during bath time. The mom behind the Luve is truly a genius. When our daughter was an infant, bath time was an event that required ear plugs because she quickly got cold with her body exposed to the cooler air, which led to 30 seconds of quick washing and 10 minutes of screaming.

We decided to try the Luve out on our toddler daughter before her baby sister arrives. I really loved the fact that this product can be used not only for infants but toddlers as well because of it’s unique shape and size. You can see from the photos below just how happy she was to have the warm wet frog covering her front or back with the feet draped over her shoulders to hold it in place. It really made bath time more fun for her to have a little extra warmth draped over her skin. We also found that it made a great over-sized wash cloth because it’s made from 100% comfortable cotton.

Next month I’m sure you’ll be seeing plenty of photos of our newborn covered in her Frog Luve and I’m guessing a few smiles and less screams this time.
