Color coding works well for us. It takes time to do it but once it is set up it really does keep everything where it should be.

I have a bag for Avery when she goes to daycare. As soon as we get home and wash everything I put it right back into her bag so we do not forget it. It helps to keep everything in one place.
I keep my kids organized with binders that hold their school papers.

I make sure that we keep to a schedule – bathtime, bedtime, etc. the same each night. Then everything becomes automatic and there are no surprises.

Keeping organized is not easy but I try by keeping the backpack and school supplies in the same exact spot always. I set out clothes the night before and make sure everything is packed and ready before hand so I’m not rushed at the last minute. Just try my best to keep everything in its place where it belongs.

My tip is to reorganize their school bag every few weeks to keep it from becoming a bottomless pit.
I keep the kids organized during the school year by posting a dry erase board on my fridge. Each week we update it with the activities we need to keep in mind.

I set out clothes the night before and get lunches made. Saves a ton of time in the morning and makes for much less chaos!
Folders are great way to keep things organized esp if you have more than one child!

OK so I swore I did the mandatory entry days ago now I look and I don’t see it
So here it is..since I can’t go back and see my tweets from Tues.
The best tip I got is to use boxes as canvas for little drawers and lay your childs close out the night before along with making sure you have thier shoes ready at the door.
Keep a hook inside the coat closet or on the wall in the bedroom so that there’s no morning scramble trying to find where it was left the night before.
