Baby Tested and Approved

Huggies is a brand I’ve known and loved through 3 children. There have been times we’ve strayed to other brands and less known ones but in the end nothing beat the fit and leakage protection of Huggies for us.

When Emma was born we started reaching into the world of cloth diapering because it was a more eco-friendly option. Then Huggies Pure and Natural Diapers were introduced. This turned out to be the perfect option for us because as much as we’d love to help the environment as much as possible, we’re also spoiled on the convenience of disposables. Using Huggies Pure and Natural makes me feel a little less guilty about using a disposable diaper because the packaging is now made from 20% recycled materials and the liner includes renewable materials.

The wonderful thing about the Pure and Natural diapers is they are less irritating to my baby girl’s sensitive skin thanks to the softer organic cotton, and added aloe & vitamin E. I’m usually not very recpetive to change, especially when it happens to a product we’ve trusted for so long. In the end, this was a very welcoming change for our family because even though some of the materials have changed, the shape and fit of the diaper hasn’t. We still don’t have to worry about excessive leakage.

As with any product, there’s always room for improvement. I’d love to see future diapers come with stretchier tabs and be completely ink/dye free.
