About Klutz Paper Fashions
In the Klutz paper fashions tradition, this book comes with everything girls need to design an entire one-of-a-kind wardrobe, including irresistibly tiny hangers to finish the fashions in style. Unique to this book, though, are fashions that are the stuff of fantasy: goddess gowns, pretty princess dresses, fairy finery, and more. Specially designed papers and stencils make it simple to create everything from flowing cloaks and twinkling tiaras to mermaid tails and fairy wings. I have to say, I’m very jealous that a book like this wasn’t around when I was a little girl. I remember playing with paper dolls at my grandma’s house each time I came to visit, but they pale in comparison to the fun you can have with the Paper Fashions kit. It comes with everything a little girl needs to create a entire collection of fashionable dresses!
My daughter and I sat down with everything we needed to create the adorable dress, embellished with glitter glue, ribbons and tiny flowers. Together we picked out the perfect papers, traced the shapes with the provided stencils, cut and glue the pieces together. While she isn’t quite old enough to handle all of the intricate pieces herself, we both still had lots of fun picking out papers to design the dress with together. We’ve decided these will make the perfect little projects to frame and hang on the walls in her room.
