With the holidays just around the corner you’re probably scurrying around looking for the right gifts for your kids. And if you’re like me and have more than one child, buying gifts “evenly” is a difficult task. I just know that if I accidentally buy a bigger or uneven number of gifts between the kids, I’ll surely hear about it. With K’NEX, you can solve that problem because they offer a little something for kids of all ages.
K’NEX for Kids ages 2- 5
Includes “Play & Learn” activity sheet and additional building ideas. Loaded with 40 parts to build the famous 1-2-3 Brownstone, complete with tiny stoop, Elmo, Cookie Monster, trees and a fire hydrant. Pairs perfectly with the Neighborhood Collection Ice Cream Truck for hours of building fun and after building play
What toddler doesn’t love Sesame Street? Mine does, that’s for sure. When our two year old got her hands on the Kids K’NEX Sesame Street Brownstone building set and her favorite character, Elmo, she had a blast. Creating her own little Sesame Street neighborhood is so easy with the K’NEX blocks that are large and simple to use for a toddler for basic building skills. The only thing missing is the storage bin for clean up time that comes with the 400 piece set below.
K’NEX for Kids ages 7 and up
Loaded with 400 parts, including bricks, for lots of open-ended fun and endless building and play opportunities! Includes instructions and ideas for 20 models or use your imagination to dream up your own creations. The convenient storage tub means there is always a place to put your parts or take the fun with you wherever you go! For ages 7+
With a little bit of help and a lot of imagination, kids can build some pretty amazing structures with K’NEX Multi-Model Building Set. Inside the tub there’s an idea book that includes project ideas from a basic hot air balloon to a full on Ferris Wheel.
One thing in the building guide that I particularly like is that it offers basic shapes to build on like the castle. The book presents a very basic structure with the pieces needed clearly outlined and leaves the door open for your child to create his/her own version of the castle. The biggest benefit to parents of course is that it comes all packed in a storage bin. When my son gets tired of his creations he can just pack them all back in the tub for easy clean up.

My son isn’t old enough for K’Nex yet, but we also received a Sesame Street set. DH & I even had fun with it. I know these are on a lot of Christmas lists this year!
