Crawl to Walk Fisher Price Fun

Go Baby Go!™ Stride-to-Ride® Lion

stridetorideliontoddlerThe award winning Stride to Ride Lion from Fisher-Price is a huge hit in our house with the little ones. This fun little lion is designed to grow with babies from crawling to walking to riding. Our little Emma is crawling at 7 months old and trying desperately to walk and explore.

Converting the riding lion to a walking position is as simple as lifting the seat and snapping a support bar into place. She was up and ready to roll all over the house and did just that. It’s also been great for helping her leg muscle development and encouraging her to start taking some steps.

Of course, our toddler has to get in on the fun as well and she had a blast rolling all over the house when you convert the Stride to Ride Lion back to a seated position.

Laugh & Learn™ Learning Farm

laughandlearningfarmOut of all of the Fisher-Price toys we’ve ever owned and experienced, the Laugh & Learn Learning Farm has quickly become my favorite. Even though my girls are a few years apart in age, the Learning Farm has been a blast for both of them. It’s recommended for ages 6 months to 36 months. Kaydee, our toddler, loves listening to the music and singing along while our baby, Emma, is busy checking out all of the movable parts and bright colors. I love how they can actually sit down and play together without Kaydee getting jealous.

On one side you have the outside of the barn with the bright red exterior, prize pig that makes a squeal when the kids spin his belly and the vegetable garden made of shapes. You turn it around and you have the chicken basket with eggs and a fun little radio.

As a mom, the key feature that I really enjoy is the handle on top to easily transport the toy from room to room.

Room for Improvement
Assembly was far from easy with over a dozen screws to attach all of the parts. There are also a lot of nooks and crannies for dirt and gunk to get trapped in making clean up a less than desirable task for this toy.

this is nice, takes up less space then a small house we had for our grandson. and I agree with you on the carrying handle, makes carry a little one and the Learning Farm easier to tote from room to room. The Stride to Ride is perfect for different stages of a little one

I think my daycare kiddos would love to have this to play with and I can also think of a few other kiddos who would love it. I think that it is neat how they have really incorporated learning and toys these days.

I had no idea they had the farm out! My daughter’s love their Laugh & Learn House. It gets played with everyday! I love the home for the same reason. My 3 year old and 1 year old play it together without getting jealous! They love it, it keeps them busy, so I love it too.

Thank you so much for the reviews! My son’s birthday is January 7th and he’ll be 1. During Toys-r-us’ 30% off Fisher Price infant toy sale last month, I got him the lion for Christmas and the Laugh & Learn Home for his birthday. I really debated between the barn and the home. Who knew toys could make for such tough decisions? hehe I’m so glad though that you have favorable reviews of these toys. Thank you again!
