Hi there, I’m Catherine, but my friends just call me Cat. I’m a police officer’s wife, the maid, the chef, the in house nurse, a graphic designer, a mommy blogger, and a mother – the title I’m most proud of. When I’m not changing diapers, dispensing milk and dodging baseballs, I’m blogging my life away here at 3 Kids and Us. And THIS is my Sling & Swaddle Journey. Read more >>
Farewell Sling & Swaddle Journey
It’s been a wonderful month being apart of the Sling & Swaddle Journey. I was introduced to two products that I otherwise may never have known about and have been honored to be able to share them with everyone.
The Hotsling has become my best friend and part of our daily routine. From household chores to grocery shopping, we’ve taken our sling with us in just about every aspect of our lives. Not only have I learned so much about the babywearing lifestyle, I’ve strengthened the bond with my daughter while having her close to my heart.
In the past 30 days, we’ve enjoyed more peaceful nights than any other day since Emmaleigh was born. I never truly realized the power of swaddling until I was introduced to a product that made it a snap. I would HIGHLY recommend this as a gift to any new mom, even experienced moms like myself. Old dogs CAN learn new tricks!
Even though the journey has come to an end on twitter, these two products will be apart of our lives for months to come. A big thank you goes out to Hotslings for providing the Solstice Sling, Miracle Blanket for providing 2 pink swaddle blankets and everyone that has followed my journey on twitter and my blog.
I leave you with one final video montage and if you’re just now joining in, you can find my previous Sling & Swaddle topics here.

Oh I love all of it
those are really neat and my next kid is so getting it LOL Ok Daddy really needs a sling or two
your kiddos are so adorable you’re so lucky!!!
I am also a huge fan of slings! they were a necessity to me with a farm and two kids 15 mo. apart!
Great video! I’m slinging my son and we’re off to the mall for free AC and storytime!
And I forgot to mention that your puppy is some kind of freak of nature! I’ve never seen a puppy that calm before. Well done!
Looks like Daddy could’ve used two hotslings! lol One for Kaydence and one for Shelbie! lol Poor little Emma is going to be 1/2 tan on one side of her body with all those walks! lol
what little muffins you have!
I was just thinking on the “dad needs a hotsling too” that your puppy would dig the sling
