SunChips have always been a huge hit in our house (we’re particular to the Harvest Cheddar), they taste great for the kids and I feel better knowing they are made with whole grains, 0g of trans-fat cholesterol, and have 30% less fat than typical potato chips. If that wasn’t reason enough, SunChips is taking their cause for healthier families and working towards a healthier planet with the production of their new packaging.
SunChips
In an effort to create a healthier planet SunChips has created the first fully compostable snack chip bag made from plant-based materials. To get The Green Effect going SunChips has already changed the outer layer of packaging on 10 ½ oz size SunChips snack bags. They are made with a compostable, plant-based renewable material. By Earth Day 2010, the packaging for its SunChips snacks all layers will be made from PLA material so the package is 100% compostable.
Watch in as an entire bag is returned the Earth from which it came in as little as 14 weeks.

I am trying to use more all natural cleaners and we now use reusable grocery and lunch bags. Thanks for the chance.
