Pitching Pitch Bloggers

Moms are making a big splash into media scene with real opinions on real products, and PR reps are taking notice. These days word of mouth, or rather “word of blog” can have a major impact on a company. Just look at the hoopla moms caused with the #motrinmoms discussion on twitter when Motrin released an ad knocking the use of infant carriers. It just goes to show how effective a group of once unnoticed consumers can be.

Pitch Bloggers, founded by mom blogger and momprenuer, Trisha Haas, hit the web this month creating a way to bridge the gap between media professionals and mom bloggers. The Pitch Bloggers service was created to offer PR Reps, In-Houses Marketers, and Bloggers a meeting place to optimize their relationships and form effective campaigns with one another.

Moms can Make a Difference with the Fresh Air Fund

As moms, we want all of the opportunities in the world for our children from college degrees to tropical family vacations. For some children, something as simple as a summer camp is only a dream. The Fresh Air Foundation is helping that dream become a reality through programs including the Summer Camp for New York Children and The Friendly Town Program.

In 2008, The Fresh Air Fund’s Volunteer Host Family Program, called Friendly Town, gave close to 5,000 New York City boys and girls, ages six to 18, free summer experiences in the country and the suburbs. Volunteer host families shared their friendship and homes for two weeks or more in 13 Northeastern states from Virginia to Maine and Canada. If you or someone you know has room in your heart and your home, please consider becoming a host family for the Fresh Air Fund.

that Motrin commercial seems to be unfinished. Very weird. And the answer to the baby wearing….IT doesn’t matter how much you carry them…He STILL cries!! Haven’t noticed a difference in my back pain. Still hurts as much as it always has
