Sandra Magsamen is an artist, mom, author of Living Artfully and creator of the Messages From The Heart brand. She designs  gifts and ideas that encourage us to live with heart. Sandra Magsamen lives artfully with her family in the Maryland town in which she grew up.

For our family, books are a vital part of learning, growing, and spending quality time together. Not only do they help our children learn new words, take their imaginations to other places, but they also help in dealing with the changes life throws at your family and growing up.

For instance, our family recently welcomed a new addition, Emmaleigh. She joined our family of now five, giving our toddler a new little sister to love and hold. But many times, a new little sister can bring about many emotions for a toddler.

One of the ways you can handle this is by taking the change down to their level, a book. Going through the pages of Welcome, Little One helped our toddler see what fun having a new baby is and how much love we have for our children.

She was able to feel the softness of a baby blanket wrapped around the illustrated baby. Fun pop-out hearts showed her how our hearts are so full of love for our children.

I absolutely adored how interactive this book is with features like the textured objects, pop-up hearts, embedded musical page, and even a heart with a reflective mirror. Our daughter was just engrossed in every single page. This is a great book to read to your child over and over again from infant to toddler as a reminder of how loved they are.
