What 48 hours of Laundry Looks Like

Just in case you’ve ever wondered with 48 hours worth of laundry looks like. To be honest, it will probably end up more like 96 hours worth because there’s still 2 more baskets hiding in the laundry room.

laundry

We spent the first 2 hours of Sunday organizing, separating, and stacking the laundry and managed to get 3 loads washed, dried, and hung. I’m hoping we finish another 5 loads by the end of Monday, 5 done on Tuesday and the last 2 (plus the newly accumulated laundry) by Wednesday evening.

Our initial plan was to just pack it all up and head to a laundromat but we couldn’t find one that was in a safe area. Being that my husband is a police officer we can’t just going hanging out in certain parts of the city, and unfortunately, we don’t even have one in our town (that I know of). Plus the idea of being trapped in a building with 2 kids running around and 1 that poops every hour just didn’t sound like much fun.

Then of course there was the snow issue. Yes, it’s almost April and we had a last minute snow, probably the latest one in the year that I’ve ever seen. This is the winter wonderland we woke up to.

We hang dry all of our laundry so do some washing everyday. It would take me weeks to get through that much.

I can totally relate I have my in huge leave bags waiting to go to the laundry mat ! I do average 12 to 16 loads a week! I think if I took mine out of the bags and did what you have I might just have you beat ! It will feel awesome when you have it all done !
