Who Needs Disneyland?

Who needs Disneyland when daddy’s are built in theme parks.

In this house our kids seem to have more fun playing on daddy, in the boxes their toys come in and going through my pots and pans. Even after watching them do this a million times, it still amazes me how much imagination and joy the kids experience from the simplest of things.

My kids love when daddy or papa get on the floor with them and have fun.

  2. Cat,

I don’t know how they do it (husbands/daddies). Mine also just lets the kids tromp all over him and they all have the time of their lives. Mommies just aren’t built that way. I can take several hours of labor, even pushing them out for what seems like an eternity, but I do not like them crawling all over me like a jungle gym.

It sure is a lot of fun to watch and it makes me smile.

Seeing as my husband is in his Mid forties and lived a rough life…it’s not likely I’ll see Sarah or any of my step kids doing this. But I remember roughhousing with my father when we were young. It always seemed like no matter how much we tried..he always had the strength and energy to defeat us LOL

That’s the mystery of kids! As little ones, it doesn’t take much to please them. That used to be one of my children’s favorite things to do. Everyonce and a while they still like to try and take Mr. Husband down. And it takes all five of them.

Daddy’s are the best. They’re ruff and tuff and usually someone ends up crying in the end. But they (the kids) always come back for more. Plus, you don’t have to hand sanitize after they play there.!!

Daddies are so much fun~the kids could play for hours just crawling all over him!

I love it! Thanks for the pictures. At my house my husband Eddy and Thomas (1 year old) are best pals. They roll around, play catch with the dogs etc. Sometimes I tear up because its just pure happiness.

Haha! Oh, what dads will do for their kids =]
We have pictures of my dad in fake pearls and hair bows. Lol

My kids are the exact same way. I can’t tell you how many photos I have (both on film and in my head) of the boys climbing on and over dad. He is the funnest toy they have for sure, followed closely by plastic bowls and lids. :) Adorable photos, Cat.

  10. Daddies or a box usually work for us too lol. As long as it’s not me I’m good. BTW I saw your new haircut on your profile at MomDot and i LOVE it. It brings out your face so much more. CUTE!

hehe great post- and a wonderful reminder- but I have to say I’d go back to DisneyWorld in a heartbeat. ;)

I absolutely love these pics, thank you for sharing today, you gave me one of those warm my heart feel good smiles.

So cute! I love watching my kids play like this, too.

This does remind me of an FOTC that I watched the other day where Bret said “she works at Petland” and Jemaine in his quiet voice asked “oh, you mean the free zoo?”. So funny, so true!

  14. Firefly says:

Kiddos and their imagination are the best :) we do the same here…Daddy’s are sure built for play ;)

  15. Those pictures are wonderful – your husband is such a great sport, they are definitely “daddy’s little girls”. I love watching my grandson (age 3) and step-son play around like that, they wrestle all over the floor until daddy gets beat, and grandson wins! Then the laughter ensues, and I have said before, there is NOTHING sweeter in the world than a child’s laughter.

I hope Kaydee got paid for her fabulous Shiatzu Massage she gave Daddy… LOL
HHMM… does he carry hazard insurance like Disneyland does? He might need it with two daughters to cope with as they grow up. Such adorable photos.

  17. We all know that compared to Daddy’s, Disneyland is overrated. lol I am 40 and have never been there and will probably never will get there.
