You’ll have to forgive me, I have never used the panorama feature of my digital camera before and I didn’t quite do it like I was suppose to. But it still captured a pretty decent shot of a summer storm that was rolling in last week. This storm looks a lot meaner than it really was. We just got some rain and little lightning but they still fascinate me every time one rolls through.

That is a totally cool shot! Okay, I’m convinced that IL has crazy weather like TN. When I was in IL a few weeks ago, I was surprised by the really hot day followed by a typical frigid San Francisco day. I’m still trying to get use to the weather on this side of the map. My kids are also trying to get use to summer storms. We never experienced anything like we are now when we lived in CA, but it can be pretty exciting; sometimes.
Wow! That panarama still came out great – I have yet to figure out all the bells & whistles on my camera! Your weather usually gets sent our way!

Don’t sell yourself short, that’s a fab shot, and I live in the lightning (?sp) capital of the country (central FL). I used to be so terrified of t-storms, didn’t know about central FL being the above until AFTER we moved here!! I’m getting over it slowly – still not the best, but I do like to take pictures of the “show”, and you did a really great job. Thanks for sharing.
I love this picture! Storms are wonderful! We had one two weeks ago where the lightning looked like you could reach out and touch it. My daughter got a bit scared so we all cuddled together in our room and watched for two hours until the kids fell asleep. Your picture reminds me of that.
