Have you ever gone to the store for a pint of your favorite ice cream and come home to dig in only to find it’s completely soft? I do it all of the time and let me tell you, it’s not fun at all waiting for it to refreeze and enjoy later.
FREE Ice Cream Freezer Bags from Sam’s Club
*update* This promotion went over so great that the free bags are already gone, but you can still enter to win 1 of 5 $100 Sam’s Club Gift Cards below.
While Sam’s Club is one of the best places to shop in bulk and to stock up on the things you need, it’s a store that’s not always conveniently located. Many people, like myself, drive 20 plus minutes one way to the nearest Sam’s Club. This can leave you in a sticky situation when your frozen foods start melting during the trip back home. To help save your ice cream, Sam’s Club has partnered with Nestle to offer 30,000 free Ice Cream Freezer Bag Samples!

Stocking up on Low-Fat Frozen Treats
Speaking of ice cream, with the new year and new healthy goals for people like my husband and myself, we’re always looking for alternative ways to snack without adding excess calories. Sam’s Club carries a variety of tempting frozen treats, but the ones that are of most interest to me right now are the Skinny Cow variety.
Sold in large packs of 18ct and 20ct, several Skinny Cow low-fat ice cream treats are available at your local Sam’s Club. One of my husband’s favorites is the 140 calorie Skinny Cow Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches. He doesn’t have to give up his love of ice cream and I don’t have to worry about him packing on too many unnecessary calories.
Skinny Cow ice cream varieties are also a good option for my children. To them, ice cream is ice cream and they’ve been munching up the ice cream sandwiches all week without ever knowing they contained reduced calories and fat.
Of course, I wouldn’t spend all this time talking about ice cream if I wasn’t going to share. Thanks to Sam’s Club, you have the chance to win 1 of 5 $100 giveaways below to obtain and Sam’s Club membership and do some Skinny Cow shopping yourself.
