Disney Social Media Moms Celebration – We’re Going!

First things first…can you guess what post number this is? It only took me a year and a half but this is my 1000th blog post! How exciting is that? I’m mean, I’m not exactly miss blabber mouth around the house, but 1,000 posts, even I’m a little shocked.

But it’s not nearly as exciting as telling you…we’re going to Disney World!!!!!!

I have been waiting so long to utter those words and I’m absolutely bursting with excitement. Really, if you could see my face as I type this right now you’d just burst out laughing. Here I am wiggling in my chair with dreams of Mickey ears dancing in my head. I can’t say that I’ve been waiting my entire life for this moment because the truth is, as a kid, I had no desire to go to any Disney theme park. Yes, I was weird child. But now that I’m all grown up with kids of my own, all I can think about is acting 5 again and sharing this magical moment with my children.

While Emma is so young she won’t remember the trip, it’s the perfect excuse to go back in a few years, or next year and every year thereafter, providing we win the lottery. :-)

But the one I’m truly excited for is our 2 1/2 year old daughter Kaydence. She is absolutely obsessed with Disney Princesses right  now and being able to let her meet her favorite princess, Snow White, it’s just priceless (providing we can find Snow White in that big theme park).

And as a bonus, I’ll have the opportunity to meet so many of my mom blogger friends that I’ve only had the pleasure of knowing virtually.

So just take this as my warning post that come mid February, I might go a little nuts with sharing photos from our trip…providing I can find a decent camera to bring with me.

Interested in attending?

Walt Disney World is hosting the Disney Social Media Moms Conference  along with co-hosts Resourceful Mommy Media, Mom Bloggers Club, 5 Minutes for Mom and Mom Select.

For $350, bloggers can bring along three other family members (or more at $150 each) that covers your stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, select meals, 4 day park tickets and more. Jan and Sue at 5 Minutes for Mom have a great post offering more details on how to get involved and attend. Spaces are limited, so I would check into this quickly if you are interested.

UPDATE – The conference is now sold out.

Planning on Attending?

If you are excited as I am and already have your plans set to go, link up your blog link below. I’d love to “meet” you before the event! You can also join the twitter conversation by following the hashtag #DisneySMMoms

Our family was provided with a discounted price to attend this event. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.
