Pepsi, a brand and soft drink that has held a special place in my heart (and tummy) for many years has taken business and charity to a new level. Simply put, it’s refreshing.
Pepsi Refresh Project
In 2010, Pepsi is giving away more than $20 million dollars to fund projects – from updating your neighborhood park to fighting global warming, the possibilities are vast. Working together, your ideas and grant money from Pepsi can fund projects to better the community around you. Instead of throwing advertising dollars into the Superbowl this year, they are putting the money where it really counts, back into your community with the Pepsi Refresh Project.
How do you get involved?
Whatever your passion, the arts, the planet, the education system, even your own neighborhood and community, your ideas and your passions can come to life, funded by the Pepsi Refresh Project. Getting involved only take 5 little steps.
Step 1 – Think of an Idea to better the world around you.
Step 2 – Download the Pepsi Refresh Idea Tool Kit (PDF)
Step 3 – Submit your idea to the Pepsi Refresh Project online
Step 4 – Promote your idea with Facebook, Twitter, call your friends, email your family, distribute flyers, get the word out about your idea any way you can.
Step 5 – Vote! Vote for your own project idea, vote for others that share your same passions.
