I’ll admit, I love baking. I love the warmth of the oven, the step by step process and even more so, the yummy flavors that can be created. What I don’t love is fussing with icing tips and pastry bags. It never fails, just as soon as I start a row of icing either a bubble pops through or I wiggle my hand just enough to make it look like a 3 year old iced the cake.
With the new Pillsbury Easy Frost – No Fuss Frosting choices, I’ve been rescued! There’s no pastry bag to fill, just a convenient can pre-filled with frosting and topped off with a convenient star tip to create some pretty great designs on your cakes, cookies and even brownies.

My Creative Cooking Cap is On
Immediately after receiving 2 cans of the no fuss frosting to sample, I had about a dozen ideas buzzing around my head. With my birthday just around the corner I decided on whipping up one of my favorite treats in a winter friendly kind of way. The cold temperatures make it difficult to enjoy a cone filled with my favorite twisted, soft serve treat so in the kitchen I went to make a warmer version. Cupcake Cones!

The process is amazingly simple. After baking cones filled with cake mix, you just frost the top with the Pillsbury Easy Frost to create a twisty cone style cupcake treat. The best part, the icing flavors tasted exactly like I remember them from the frosting tubs!
