Meet the Family
I’m Catherine, better known as Cat, author and owner of 3 Kids and Us Blog. Although I do all of the writing, my inspiration comes from my husband and children. I married my husband, Jon, after dating just 8 short months. In just 8 years our family has grown to “3 Kids and U”s plus the dog. Aside from being a wife, mother, maid, chef and human pooper scooper, I enjoy keeping myself busy. I’m a self taught web and graphic designer. I run this nifty little blog, craft hair bows for my girls, enjoy amateur photography and share my love of cooking from time to time.
Meet the Kids
Mattison – The nerd of the family (said lovingly) and quite shy 8 year old boy and enjoys all things Star Wars, Sci-Fi and Military. He has dreams of following in his father’s foot steps and becoming a police officer when he grows up, providing he doesn’t break his neck on that skateboard I swore I’d never buy for him. You can thank dad’s dinner bet for that one!
Kaydence – Our bouncing 2 year old with the golden curls like Orphan Annie and such beautiful personality to match. She encompasses all things girly with her unique sense of “I can dress myself” style and daily reminders that she must have her piggies painted.
Emmaleigh – Life smacked us with the surprise of our second daughter, now 10 months old. A personality that leaves us guessing with her mysterious, watchful ways but can light up the room with her little “broken laugh” that sounds like one of those squeaky toys the dog chews on.
Shelbi - Of course, life just had to get a little more complicated when my husband decided we wouldn’t be complete without a family dog. That’s where our squishy little yellow Labrador retriever puppy came in.

Blog Topics
I write where the wind takes me but the majority of topics here are family friendly discussions about our family, parenting and all of the quirky adventures we experience which could be poop on the walls one day and marital hurdles the next. I also enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions of the newest products to hit the market and good old fashioned favorites that are tried and true. I consider myself a very brand loyal shopper but am always open to new experiences and products.

We accept a limited number of product reviews per month. Each review will include detailed usage experiences, personal photos and may include video footage. Giveaways and Contests
Product giveaways are hosted in conjunction with reviews and are encouraged if you are seeking additional exposure for your brand. We host no more than 10 giveaways per month for a period of 2 weeks for products valued under $200, or 1 month for products valued in excess of $200. Sponsors are responsible for shipment of prize to the winner within a timely manner. Company Events and Travel
We are open to traveling to brand and blogger conferences to learn more about your company and share our thoughts and experiences with our readers. Should you request my attendance it may be necessary to travel with my children. We’ve all heard the phrase, “moms don’t get sick days”, we don’t seem to get vacation days either.
