In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question….
Do you have any signs of spring coming where you live?
Clearly I’m getting quite sick of the snow and cold, yearning for some signs of spring. Unfortunately, I forgot once again last fall to plant my tulips and daffodils. The daffodils and tulip leaves would be sprouting very shortly had a I remembered them. But oddly, my Magnolia tree is starting to bud. I think it’s confused with the way our temperatures keep bouncing around.

Cat,
There is no sign of spring anywhere around here. We actually had our second fall of snow for the season, today. Our snow is pretend snow compared to yours. We have about 2″. Any signs of spring are all in my head; nope, I’m not crazy. I’ve already started making spring and summer clothes so I’ll be ready as soon as something appears.
Our Magnolia tree isn’t blooming, but I like that the green leaves stay around through the winter months.
hmmmm..since I live in a warm climate overall,I can’t really say I see signs of spring because many trees and flowers here look the same year round.
Not really…we have a snow advisory as we speak and are supposed to get anywhere between 1-5 in.
No, nothing but rain.
Not yet! I am really super duper looking fwd to any signs! There is snow dusting the ground at the moment
no-but we don’t really ever get snow here.
I feel the temps already heading back up…I am not happy about it! I like Hawaii in the winter!
No not really. We ended up with a bunch of snow and really cold temps the past couple of days. It still looks a lot like winter. I am wanting spring, too.
It was 7 degrees and felt like -13 with the wind. The only sign of spring are the confused birds that did not leave here for the winter
Not yet.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Have a nice weekend.
the only sign right now is the changing of the weather to warmer temperatures.
I’d love to do flowers this spring. I guess I should have started earlier? I’m so clueless about gardening.
not yet…
Will be glad when we do!
That would be a no! It’s still snowing around here!
Not really. I guess the weather doesn’t change too much with the changing of the seasons.
No signs of spring here yet. The last few days the temperature has been in the single digits.
We had the woman around the corner plant some gorgeous annuals about 3 days ago, and they are really looking beautiful… but we live in Florida, so I wouldn’t recommend it to just anywone. Have a great weekend.
Not quite yet-Although I did hear birds singing the other day!! Granted, it was like -3 degrees outside, but I guess there’s a little hope
Not yet. Cold, Snow, Feezing temps, and still another month of winter.
