Our Day 18 of baby shower fun comes to you from Bath Luve!
About Bath Luve:
When Amy Seckinger’s son Austin was born 10 years ago, she looked for something to make bath time more pleasant. “Before I put Austin in the tub, he was all warm and swathed and cuddly,” she says. But that calmness soon turned to frustration and crying once the clothes were off and only Austin’s back was placed in the warm water.
Thinking that bath time would go more smoothly if there wasn’t such a drastic temperature change, the Delafield resident designed a cloth covering the would cover her son’s chest and private parts. The idea, dubbed the Bath Luve, has gone from a mother’s practical solution to the mass-market retail world.
LUVĒ, LLC was founded by Wisconsin-based momtrepreneur Amy Seckinger. The company launched its first national product in 2008 – the Patent Pending Bath Luvē, an innovative solution which provides warmth and comfort during infant bath time.
Mom Approved:
The Bath Luve has been unlike any product I’ve ever used during bath time. The mom behind the Luve is truly a genius. When our daughter was an infant, bath time was an event that required ear plugs because she quickly got cold with her body exposed to the cooler air, which led to 30 seconds of quick washing and 10 minutes of screaming.
We decided to try the Luve out on our toddler daughter before her baby sister arrives. I really loved the fact that this product can be used not only for infants but toddlers as well because of it’s unique shape and size. You can see from the photos below just how happy she was to have the warm wet frog covering her front or back with the feet draped over her shoulders to hold it in place. It really made bath time more fun for her to have a little extra warmth draped over her skin. We also found that it made a great over-sized wash cloth because it’s made from 100% comfortable cotton.
Next month I’m sure you’ll be seeing plenty of photos of our newborn covered in her Frog Luve and I’m guessing a few smiles and less screams this time.

I think the duck is awfully cute. I like the way his feet stick up in the air! For another animal idea, what about a purple hippo or pink flamingo? Those are found in the water and would give a “girly” color choice…

I like the frog. I think it’s great how they’re pretty much gender neutral, but some people may like some gender specific ones… Like a green crocodile/alligator or dark blue shark for boys and purple dolphin or pink water lily for girls.

The Duck is my favorite

They are all cute but I think the frog is my favorite.
I like all of them but if I had to choose it would be the frog
I always just tried to do this with a washcloth that would either float away or not cover enough! I like it in the duck style. I think a dolphin or whale would be cute for another design.

I love the duck one its adorable. For an idea of another one a pig would be realy cute.
I have to say I love the duck
I like the frog but the duck is a close second. If it didn’t have to be a water animal I think a bear would be adorable.
They are all so cute, but I really LUVE the frog.

I love the duck. I am thinking maybe a pig would be cute (since it is pink).
My pick is the frog, I like the toes & think my little one might like to play with them. How about a starfish…if an ‘extra’ needs to be added to make it fit a baby/child right add bubbles or green plants. Another idea, is sea horse or 2 sea horses with bubbles, or a mom or daddy seahorse with a baby(babies) (to make it the right shape)…either water animal ‘name’ would help expand child’s vocabulary…as you talk about the animal during bath time.

I like the frog, it´s great. I read some good animal suggestions and I can´t think of something original to add so I´ll just second the suggestion for a purple hippo, or maybe a seal.
