Big Sister vs Little Sister: The Torture Files

The way things are going lately I’m going to have to switch gears and move from the Poop Stories to The Torture Files. Forget stinky poo on the walls and carpets, those are small potatoes compared to the nightmare of issues these girls are having.

You see, when Emma was born I was breastfeeding, so it… Continue Reading…

Baby with Scratched Face

I realize every single day can’t be sunshine and roses but man, I could sure use a break from the chaos that my life can be.
For three days now I’ve been fighting off insanely bad migraines. The kind where even a hint of light makes your eye ball just start pounding. The other night I… Continue Reading…

Cutting the Baby Curls

toddler curly hair

Just looking at all those beautiful curls on my toddler makes me smile, yet cringe. Beyond the gorgeous smile and beneath the puffs of curl is a no comb zone, a place where no detangler or conditioner can be used effectively. It has gotten completely out of control.

Rewarding Potty Farts

Potty training..learning, whatever you call it, what can you really say about it except that it’s something I always dread and look forward to at the same time. You see, my son was a breeze. We never really pushed him to use the potty and one day he just up and decided to use it…. Continue Reading…

It’s Snot Funny

It’s snot funny when your toddler son gets an m&m stuck up his nose.
It’s snot funny when he doesn’t know how to blow his nose.
It’s snot funny when you frantically call your mother to figure out how in the world you’re going to remove it.
It’s snot funny when your mother suggests a turkey baster and… Continue Reading…

VeeLog – Kaydee’s Snow Day

Earlier I shared some photos of my toddler’s first time playing in the snow, and now I have some live action for you. It’s not super exciting material, but she did give some pretty cute laughs towards the end and had a heck of a time shuffling through the fluffy white stuff.
