We are fortunate enough to have a toddler that is easy to please when it comes to food and drinks. The downside is, she also has a major sweet tooth and often wants to skip milk and go straight to juice because it has all of those great fruity flavors. Gerber was kind enough to send us a sample back of the Vanilla flavored Smart Sips and they were a hit right off the bat. In fact, she loves them so much we ran out and bought her a 3 pack of the strawberry flavor.When I asked Kaydence, “do you like your milk?” she responded “mmm mewalk” (toddler speak for milk)

Food and drinks always go through the “mommy taste test” before I pass them onto my kids. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when the Strawberry Gerber Graduates Smart Sips tasted just like strawberry milk, except it doesn’t have all of the added sugars from strawberry flavored syrups. They’ve been the perfect addition to our toddlers lunch routine and I feel better knowing that she’s getting the vitamins and nutrients she needs from a milk based drink.

Mom Improvements
The drink box is the perfect serving size for a toddler, unfortunately the length of the straw is not. It comes in a two collapsible pieces that when fumbled with by curious toddler fingers often ends up leaving it floating inside the milk box out of reach. I would like to see future packaging come with a solid, one piece straw with a flexible top section to prevent this.

Now I’m wondering would my 4 year old like this, she is so picky when it comes to milk, she always liked it plain the best…I’m thinking my kid is the only one picking regular milk over chocolate LOL
