Toss the pumpkins, put away the costumes and hide the candy because the winter holidays are here! Kicking off the holiday season is the launch of the Holidays Made Simple information center at Sam’s Club online. This holiday portal brings together everything you need for the holidays including meal plans, gift ideas and special features like Deal of the Day, Gifts Galore and Holiday Helper, all of which I’ll be sharing more details on in the following weeks.
As a mom and a wife, I can’t begin to tell you how stressful the holidays are for me. Knowing what to serve, what to serve it on, how to cook it and more importantly, how I’m going to fit the holiday meals and gifts in our budget is quite a burden.
The planning, the buying and the entertaining are all things that Sam’s Club is helping with this year. One particular area of concern for me is the turkey day dinner. With a big family all sitting down to eat that day I need to buy large portions and I need them at a good price. This is where the More Feast Less Fuss entertaining guide helps!

Sam’s Club has provided an online holiday catalog that features everything from entertaining tips and table settings to entire menu plans for the holidays. The best part – not only is the inspirational guide filled with meal ideas but all of the products from the stemware to the spiral ham are all available for purchase at your local Sam’s Club. You can flip through the virtual pages to find the perfect menu for the holidays along with all of the product prices to know whether you’re staying within budget or not.

I went to the Holidays made Simple website and was excited to learn that Sam’s has a Holiday’s Taste of Sam’s event going on Nov. 20th-22nd at 2 of my local Sam’s clubs. Its really going to help our menu planning. I look forward to sampling some featured items so that I can decide on which entrees/desserts/appetizers to purchase–especially the ones that my family will really enjoy this season.

I litterally got lost on the Sam’c club site~~and I mean that in a good way……I want EVERYTHING! There’s so much to look at and so many ideas to make the holidays easier. But being a mom to three kids myself I think the most useful-and practical thing that I’d want is the Foodsaver Smart Seal food vacuum! i absolutely hate wasting food and let’s face it, during the holidays there is always way more food around than normal. I think this food saver would be the perfect addition to any home during the holiday–or anytime of the year, actually, if you are budget concious.

My kids are grown up and away from home. As I do not know what they would want on special occasions the Amazon Gift Card is the only way to go. Anything they want they can find on Amazon and at the best price.
