It’s been a hectic few days and I just now got a few moments to sort through my daughter’s party pictures. Little miss Kaydence is now officially “not zero anymore”, in my son’s words. She celebrated her first birthday with friends and family on July 1st.
It actually turned out to be a great day. In our family, get-together’s are typically stress filled with people running all over the place making each other crazy. This time though, I actually got to sit down and enjoy a bit of the food, even some of the cake, amazingly enough.
