Our Party with Balloon Time
Like most parties, the must have decoration is always balloons. The kids love them and they just make the scene a lot more fun and festive. What’s not fun about balloons is the price tag and transporting them. To cut costs and save time, we received a coupon to pick up a Balloon Time Helium Balloon Kit. Everything you need is right there in the box.
Using the helium kit was very easy. You simply turn the handle to open the flow of helium, place a balloon over the nozzle, press down and watch it fill right up!
Within 20 minutes I was able to inflate, tie and string up 14 balloons into 2 bundles for the party room. It made the set up process a lot less stressful by avoiding a trip to the party store.
The Balloon Time Price Difference
When comparing buying a Balloon Time Kit to purchasing and having balloons filled at your local party store the savings are obvious. Not only are you saving money on the actual balloons but you are avoiding the trip to the party store and difficultly of transporting the filled balloons. I just used the 30 balloon tank for the boy’s birthday. I wish I could have found the 50 balloon tank. My favorite decorating idea is the balloon in a balloon. I will try that next time.

Description
This craft can be used as both an activity to keep the children entertained and a creative table decoration at a Halloween party.
Instructions
Inflate helium balloons and attach a ribbon. Use the ribbon to secure the balloon to a table, chair or wrist while working. Flip the balloon upside down and twist eight 12? craft pipe cleaners around the neck of the balloon. Bend the pipe cleaners so there are four ?legs? on either side of the balloon. Bend the ends of the pipe cleaners so the critter stands when placed on a flat surface. Draw a silly or scary face on the balloon with markers or glitter pens, and cut off the ribbon, being careful not to puncture the balloon. Your balloon spider is now complete! (The spider will not float, but will stand on a flat surface and bounce when bopped on the head. If you want it to float, use crepe paper streamers and tape instead of pipe cleaners for the legs).

This is my favorite tip: “Balloon Place Markers” and using metalic markers to tell who sits in each charir on the balloon, kids love seeing their own name on things and then getting to take that balloon home will be fun for them too

i love the duck, duck, goose, game with balloons that they suggest. i teach the 3-4 yr old class at church and i let the kids play duck duck goose at the end, but sometimes the kids get rough when picking who is “it”. hitting the balloon instead of the kid’s head is a great idea!

Just visited Balloon Time and here is one of my favorite tips…..
Use Balloon Place Markers (All Occasions) – This is a great idea for children’s birthday parties where the birthday child will not have to choose who will sit beside him/her in front of all the guests. You can also tie extra balloons and ribbon to the birthday child’s chair to mark the seat of honor.
I think the Hot Air Balloon Crafts would be a big activity hit at a kids party!

i like the Fortune Balloons..write fortunes on slips of paper and put them in balloons before inflating them with helium. Party guests pick their own balloon and pop it to find out their fortune.
