One of the most exciting features of the Vtech LS6217 is the online custom graphic tool that allows you to select from a large selection of patterns or upload one of your own. While our son isn’t quite old enough to have a private line in his room yet, this would be the ideal phone for teenagers or anyone that wants to add their own personality to the phone. The basics of printing your own custom inserts is easy.

Aside from the customizing we noticed quite a few differences between the new LS6217 and the older model VTech phone we had. For starters, the range! With our older phone we couldn’t reach the front porch without static. The DECT 6.0 Digital technology allowed us to not only carry on a conversation outside of the house but all the way to the mailbox to grab the afternoon mail.

Mom Improvements

I wish the custom photo upload tool offered ideal image dimensions for graphics that are not pattern based. For instance if I wanted to use a photo of my son, some of the elements of the image are cut off without knowing the ideal width and height of the print area.
