Wordless Wednesday – We’ve got Baby Steps

From the moment my kids were each welcomed into my arms I’ve experienced some of the most proud, tender and loving moments that money just can’t buy. But the one that really just takes the cake for me…their first steps. It’s such a powerful and emotional experience for me as a mother to be there to see my little ones make this transition. While I’m never quite ready to have my last baby grow up so quickly, I’m so proud of her for hitting this milestone so soon.

And of course, I’m just tickled pink to be able to share this moment with all of you!

  1. HA! You’ll be even busier now! Congrats on babysteps!

  2. Isn’t that just incredible? My first-born was walking by 8 months too. (The 2nd-born was walking at 8 1/2 months, the 3rd at 9 months, the 4th at 12 months, the 5th at 11 1/2 months, the 6th at 11 months and the last one is 10 months old and not walking yet.)

She is really going to keep you busy now!

Wow, 8 months and walking! That’s incredible. I have to admit I’m glad mine didn’t start walking until around 12 months. It’s easier to keep them contained when you need to when they can’t walk.
