While we didn’t get out of the house for a last night alone before the baby comes like we had planned, I did whip up a quick dessert for us on Valentine’s Day. I melted down a giant Hershey’s bar till it was warm and gooey, added some strawberries, bananas, and pound cake. We watched eachother constantly drop our pieces of fruit in the chocolate and laughed as we couldn’t dig them back out.

Mmmm, I’ve eaten so many chocolate covered strawberries this week, but that photo still makes me drool!
Yummy! Would not have thought to use the candy bar… we just had this for my birthday dinner dessert along with cupcakes last weekend….so good! Glad you were still able to enjoy yourselves!
I always thought fondue was more complicated to make than that. It looks so quick and easy to make. I’ll have to give it a try.
Yum! I love fondue! I made berries and homemade whip cream this morning for part of our breakfast and it was scrumptious!:)
