Road trips can be some of the most fun you will ever have in a summer, fall or spring. Winter road trips can be great but they’re usually reserved more for the summertime – roof down, cold drinks on the go and the tape deck blasting out the best tunes of your teenage years. So if this sounds like the trip to end all trips, where should you go? What spot has a great amount of things to see and do while having it all accessible by great stretches of road for miles and miles? Check out these great stops to make in one of the best states for road trips – Florida!

The Parks

One of the main reasons many people come to this part of the United States is mainly to see the numerous amazing amusement parks on offer. You can head to Disney World Florida for cheaper by booking tickets online and in advance or you can check out other great parks like Universal Studios, where your favourite films come to life in amusement park rides and fun houses. Check out Sea World – one of the world’s biggest and best parks for spotting your favourite marine life, but if you want to spend the day in the water yourself you can visit one of the numerous great water parks like Buccaneer Bay or Typhoon Lagoon!

Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Centre

A seriously great day out for anyone in your party that likes astronomy and space travel, the Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Centre really lets your imagination fly. Visit the Cape and plan your trip to coincide with a rocket launch if possible and then head to the Space Centre to explore the history of mankind’s space exploration including some of the old pieces of Saturn V rockets that were used to shuttle the astronauts to the moon and back. Explore the whole story in the museum which is dedicated to bringing space exploration to life for the everyday person. Be sure not to miss the real moon suit worn on the moon’s surface!

The Keys

Probably the best for sun, sea and sand seekers, this part of the state is awash with gorgeous islands that sometimes feature secluded beaches where you won’t see another soul for hours! Not only that but this is a great option for those looking for a road trip with a difference. By taking the Overseas Highway, you can literally drive to all the islands and back to the mainland again which means this is probably one of the best ways to see some truly gorgeous islands without needing to fly anywhere! So which stops will you make on this great island hopping adventure?

There we have a couple of great suggestions on things to see in Florida on your next amazing road trip! So what are you waiting for? Grab a friend, some awesome snacks, great tunes and hit the open road for a trip through Florida you won’t soon forget!

North America is Your Vacation Playground

August 8, 2017 by admin

So many people take a vacation and decide to head to another country. However, North America really is your vacation playground, offering so many different cultures and experiences for anyone who is ready to embark on a journey. Whether it’s visiting a coast, the opposing coast, or another region you haven’t been to, you are sure to find great vacation packages and a lifetime of fantastic memories. Before you plan your next trip, here are our top suggestions!

Palm Springs, California

A trip to a palm springs resort will certainly be a luxury gift to yourself! You will not only be able to enjoy some of the best weather around, you will also have access to some of the best activities one would want on a vacation. Take a shopping trip to Palm Springs Canyon Drive and enjoy the best scenery, awesome boutiques, and an array of delicious restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Or you can schedule a tee time and experience golf in a new way. Palm Springs is also home to museums, art galleries, and beautiful gardens that will appease the eye and the soul alike.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Palm Springs has a competitor for the best resort and that competitor is Cabo San Lucas! Cabo San Lucas is relatively easy to travel to by driving or by sea, but we highly recommend to do it by sea. An ocean cruise will get you in the spirit of luxury and prepared to relax. The weather is comparative to Palm Springs in that they receive sunshine on average around 300 days per year. There are plenty of beaches to enjoy the sand and the sun while providing plenty in the water activity arena. Cabo San Lucas is also well known for their fantastic food and vibrant night life. No matter what kind of vacation you want, Cabo San Lucas can provide it.

Taos, New Mexico

If sand and sun are your thing but you are preferring not to be at a beach, then Taos, New Mexico is a perfect desert destination for you. For the adventurous types, there is a wide array of things to do. There are water sports located at various rivers and watering holes to engage you and cool you off in the summer heat. Or you can opt for a sunrise hot air balloon ride. Zip lining, summer chair lifts, train rides, and hunting excursions are waiting for you. For the not-as-adventurous, there are plenty of ways to learn about the indigenous cultures of New Mexico and see some gorgeous works of art. Of course there is delicious food waiting as well. One simply cannot vacation without access to amazing food!

Ronks, Pennsylvania

Ronks, Pennsylvania doesn’t make many vacation lists and it should! It may not have beautiful beaches or a wild nightlife but it has charm and a relaxing quality that offers you time to recharge and reconnect. Ronks is smack dab in the middle of Amish country and there is plenty of fantastic Amish goods to be purchased. The Amish are well known for their furniture craftsmanship and amazing foods. Nothing tastes better in the morning than some fresh bread with a bit of Amish butter slathered on. Take time to check out the railroads, farm tours, small amusement parks, and even scooters for renting to cruise around town with.

Anytime we plan a vacation, we should make a list of what kind of trip we want to have. Maybe it’s slow paced with a lot of nature. Or an adventurous time seeking out all the hottest activities. Or maybe we just want a hotel room somewhere quiet so we can sleep as much as we want. Then take a look around North America, you are bound to find it!
